25th Anniversary Walk For Animals

Animal Allies Humane Society presents the 25th Annual Walk for Animals on Saturday, June 3rd at Bayfront Festival Park. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

Get ready for a howling good time! This event attracts more than 400 human participants and their companion animals. The route follows the Lakewalk from Bayfront Park, behind the DECC to the lift bridge, and back to Bayfront Park. There will also be an agility course, vendors, and contests held throughout the morning for cutest puppy, silly pet tricks, best wag, and more!

Participants raise money with donations from family, friends, and co-workers. Fundraising can be done in person, online through social media, or a combination of the two! Donation tracking forms are available by calling (218)-722-5341, or online at Participants who raise $40 or more receive a t-shirt the day of the event and those who raise $100 or more also receive a bandanna for their pet (t-shirts and bandanas are on a first-come, first-served basis). Any walker who raises over $300 in pledges will be honored as a Grand Marshall and will be registered for special prizes and receive a professional photograph of their pet taken the day of the walk!

All proceeds from the 2017 Walk for Animals support Animal Allies adoption, spay/neuter, and humane education programs.

Animal Allies Humane Society is a non-profit organization that strives to ensure a lifetime of loving care for every pet by increasing adoption, decreasing overpopulation, and fostering humane values.

10:45 a.m. - Contests: Best Wag, Pet/Human Look-a-Like, Silly Pet Tricks, Pet Costume - NOTE: Cutest Puppy at 9:30
11:15 a.m.Prize Drawings for $100+ and $300+ Fundraisers (must be present to win)

Participant Level
$100 or More ($100.00 - $299.00) 
All participants who raise $100 or more will receive a 25th Anniversary Walk for Animals t-shirt, a bandana for your pet, and entry into a special drawing to win other great prizes.

$40 or More ($40.00 - $99.00) 
All participants who raise $40 or more will receive a 25th Anniversary Walk for Animals t-shirt.

$300 or More  
All participants who raise $300 or more will be honored as Grand Marshals of the Walk! You will earn: - recognition by being the first on the walking path with other Grand Marshals; - a 5x7 portrait of you and your pet, taken the day of the event; - 25th Anniversary Walk for Animals t-shirt for you and a bandana for your pet; - entry into two special drawings to win other great prizes.

TOP YOUTH (age 17 or younger)  
The top youth fundraiser will win a $100 Target gift card, a 50% discount on summer camp or Youth Allies membership, logoed Animal Allies sweatshirt, and the opportunity to name a puppy or kitten!

The top fundraising individual will be set for summer travel with a $100 Kwik Trip gift card and a Miller Hill Subaru gift pack that includes an oil change, cozy sweatshirt, and fun pet travel accessories.

The top fundraising team will win a $100 Grandma’s Restaurants gift card, complimentary Animal Allies memberships, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, custom I.D tags for your pets, and the opportunity to name a litter of puppies or kittens this summer!
